The day I took this photo, I was buried in stress from work, and not feeling up to a trip. The ladies of my local photo group encouraged me to get out of the house and go on a mini road trip. We drove for hours up a windy road to a spot passed Balch Camp, near Pine Flat Lake, Ca. I'm so thankful I took that trip, it was the most remarkable day and experience. The flowers were exploding as far as the eye can see! The hills were orange with color! To this day, it is still the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
